1) the parameter of FTV for the final of the World Cup: 25%
Basically, this means we take the 75% of the best and we drop the remaining 25% ...
2) the FTV is progressive:
- A heat: keep 75% (to 100%), we throw 25%
- Two runs, you keep 150% (200%), we throw 50%
- Three innings, you keep 225% (300%), we throw 75%
- Round four: keep three races, one throws the worst
3) The FTV can value the least good runs: with FTV, it is better to win a round with 600 points to 850 points in one round in 1000. Indeed in each round is assigned a coefficient called "quality day". For a round in 1000, the "day is a quality, for a round of 500 points on day quality is 0.5.
4) The percentage discardé is proportional to the "quality day":
for a handle to 1000 (quality of day 1), I discard 25, I keep the remaining 75%.
to a handle 500, (0.5 day quality) I discarde ..... 12.5% (0.5 *% 25) ok well you follow it!
5) To understand the FTV, a better look, what we will keep only what is going to "throw". In this case we keep the best performance ...
First example:
Three races in 1000, I score 1000, 1000 and 800 in 1000
What is the sum of "quality day"? 3 course ... because each round is 1000points, too easy
How, how I keep and how much I discarde? I keep 2.25 (3) and therefore I discarde 0.75 or 75% of my worst round ...
My score = 1000 + 1000 + 800 * 0.25 = 2200 points
