국내에 있는 올해 PWCA 정회원 10 인과 연락을 취하여, 위임장을 작성, 취합하여 협회 이메일로 PWCA 사무국에 보냈습니다. 수신 확인해 주시기 바랍니다.
올해, 중국, 일본 PWC 참가 신청 시에 참가비를 같이 결제하게 되어 있었다고 하니, 엔트리 비용만 따로 결제하여 선수 등록만 하고 대회에 출전하지 않은 선수는 한 명도 없을 것으로 판단이 됩니다. 가망성이 있는 일부 선수와 전화로 확인해도 마찬가지 답변을 들었습니다. 따라서 PWCA 총회에 의결권이 있는 국내 선수는 더 이상 없을 것으로 생각이 됩니다.
현재 한국선수 7명이 나가 있어 10명이 송진석, 정세용 선수를 제외한 5명에게 위임을 보냈으므로, 4표를 더 위임을 받아 의결권을 행사할 수 있습니다.
일본은 올해 50여명이 출전을 하고 현재 슈퍼파이널에는 13명이 나가 있으므로 우리와 반대로 위임을 보낼 사람이 더 많은 실정입니다. 아시아 선수들의 권리를 위해 현재 채우지 못한 4표를 활용하려면 일본 선수들이 아직 위임이 비어 있는 한국의 두 선수들에게 위임을 보내는 방법이 있습니다. (위임은 국적과 상관 없이 누구에게나 할 수 있습니다.) 필요하다면 일본 선수단에게 제의를 해보시기 바랍니다.
이런 일로 한일 협력을 하는 사례를 만드는 것도 좋은 일일 것입니다. 유럽은 돈까지 통합하여 협력을 하고 있는데 아시아는 너무 다들 따로 놀고 있습니다.
예전에 대통령 선거 때 이야긴데, 익산에서 서울로 가는 고속버스에서 김제가 집인 운전기사가 투표를 안했다고 하니까 그곳에 있던 손님 전부가 당연히 기사양반 투표해야 한다고 하여 한시간 정도 돌아가는 것을 감수하고 투표를 하게 만든 사례가 있습니다.
